Warning signs for road work
If there is construction work on the roads and men are at work to ensure the safety of the workers and the drivers both, road work warning signs are placed to make them use the safe way out of the sight.
Road works ahead
Warns that there are road works ahead, with workers, machinery or changed road layouts.
One-lane crossover (out)
This temporary roadworks sign warns that one traffic lane will cross out of its normal carriageway and follow a shifted route through the works area.

This temporary roadworks sign warns that the diverted traffic lane will cross back towards its normal carriageway alignment.

Lanes diverge at crossover
Shows that at a road works crossover the lanes split, with one lane staying on your carriageway and one crossing over to the other side.
Lanes rejoin at crossover
Shows that lanes which were split at a road works crossover come back together on the same carriageway.
Two-lanes crossover (back)
Shows that both lanes of traffic cross back from the opposite carriageway to their normal side after road works.
Two-lanes crossover (out)
Shows that both lanes of traffic cross over onto the opposite carriageway because of road works.
Single-lane (for shuttle working)
Warns that the road ahead is reduced to a single lane used by each direction in turn, controlled by signals or a stop/go operator.

Warns that, because of road works, there is two-way traffic ahead on a road that may normally carry one direction, such as one carriageway of a dual carriageway.
