Regulatory Traffic Signs

What should you do?

As a driver, you will usually not meet cyclists beyond this sign, but stay alert in case one has entered illegally.

How to recognise it

A red-ringed circle with a black bicycle and a red diagonal bar across it.

Common confusion

Do not confuse it with the blue circular cycle track sign, which shows a white bicycle and marks a route reserved for cyclists.

Explanation written by the My Driving Test editorial team using the Department of Transport Traffic Signs Manual conventions and the RSA Rules of the Road.
