Pedestrianised street

Pedestrianised street

The street is a pedestrian zone and vehicles may not enter except during the times shown on the plate.

Regulatory Traffic Signs

What should you do?

Do not drive into the street outside the permitted hours, and if entering during them, travel very slowly and give pedestrians priority.

How to recognise it

An empty red-ringed white circle above a plate reading PEDESTRIAN ZONE, NO ENTRY EXCEPT and a time window.

Common confusion

The plain red ring means 'no vehicles', which some learners mistake for a blank or unfinished sign.
