What should you do?

Do not drive in the contra-flow lane and be careful when crossing it or turning, as buses approach from an unexpected direction.

How to recognise it

A blue rectangle with a white double-deck bus, a vertical white line, an upward arrow on the left and a downward arrow on the right.

Common confusion

Don't confuse it with a with-flow bus lane; here the arrows show traffic flowing in opposite directions.
